Festival Plans 2025

Whether you’ve been before or are a newbie, welcome to the Aboyne and Deeside Festival!

First thank you to our loyal audiance who made the 2024 events such a success.

In preparation for 2025, we want to mix things up a bit….so, we are working to include a number of new types of event, but as always, there will be the firm favourites - including classical, folk, contemporary music, talks, film and theatre.

The full programme will be released once bookings have been made, dates confirmed and venues booked. We can announce that Illyria will be back on The Green, Aboyne on Thursday 24th July. This production will be The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare. Sign up to be in our mailing list so that you will be the first to know when bookings can be made and the brochures are available.

As always, a big shout out to the Aboyne Arts and Theatre Development Group, the Deeside Community Theatre, and the Aboyne Highland Games Committee for also helping make it great.

So we look forward to seeing you at as many events as you can squeeze in over the summer of 2025…. after all - without you, there is no festival!
